Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 2026
1. What this policy covers
This page explains which cookies or similar technologies CV Creator uses, why they are used, and how you can accept, refuse, or withdraw your choice.
2. Strictly necessary technologies
Some technologies are required for the site to function properly and do not require prior consent.
- Stripe security and payment-related cookies needed to complete checkout and prevent fraud.
- A cookie storing your consent choice so we can remember whether analytics may be loaded.
- Browser session storage used locally on your device to keep your CV content available while you work.
3. Analytics cookies
If you accept analytics, CV Creator loads Google Tag Manager, which is used only to deploy Google Analytics for audience measurement.
- Purpose: understand which pages are viewed, how visitors navigate the site, and which acquisition channels are effective.
- Typical cookies: _ga, _ga_* and related Google Analytics identifiers.
- Typical data: pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device type, referral source, and interactions with the site.
- Legal basis: your consent.
4. Managing your choice
When you first visit the site, a banner lets you accept or refuse analytics. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer. If you withdraw consent, analytics loading is stopped for future page views and known Google Analytics cookies are cleared from your browser when possible.
5. Retention
Your consent choice is stored for 6 months. Analytics data retention depends on the retention settings configured in our Google Analytics property.
6. Third parties
Analytics technology is provided by Google. Payment security technologies are provided by Stripe. Hosting and infrastructure logs are handled by Vercel. More information is available in our Privacy Policy.
