3 tips to make your senior professional (50+) CV stand out
1. Compress your first fifteen years
Detail recent roles, then fold the early ones into one line: “1999-2009: sales admin and customer service roles, industrial sector”. You keep the seniority without drowning the reader.
2. Put dates on your technical skills
“SAP, ERP” proves nothing. “SAP S/4HANA — migration led in 2024” removes the recruiter's main doubt about senior profiles: expertise frozen a decade ago.
3. Never apologise for your experience
Drop “despite my age” or “still motivated”. State measurable value instead: “25 years in sales administration, including 8 building teams of 6 to 12 people”.
